About us

To Good Health turns a page of test numbers into something you can actually read, and then act on.

Why we built it

Test results arrive as a wall of numbers, abbreviations and units. Most people scan for the word “normal”, close the file and never look at it again. The useful part — whether a result is drifting year on year, and what could move it back — is left out.

To Good Health was built to close that gap. Bring your results in from a spreadsheet, a Google Sheet, a lab PDF or by typing them in, and every reading is graded and explained in plain English, with clear next steps for anything that needs attention.

What the app does

  • Grades every result. Each reading is marked green, amber or red against published NHS and NICE reference ranges, with your own lab’s range shown alongside so you can see both.
  • Handles units properly. Results from different labs, countries or years are converted to a common unit before anything is compared, and anything that looks implausible is flagged as a possible data issue for you to fix or accept.
  • Tells you what to do next. For amber and red results you get specific steps — what to eat, which exercises and how many, named yoga poses — each linked to its source.
  • Shows the direction of travel. Add several years and you get trends and charts, so you can see what is improving and what is heading the wrong way.
  • Exports cleanly. Any section, or everything at once, as a branded PDF or a CSV spreadsheet you can take to an appointment.

Where the guidance comes from

Reference ranges follow published NHS and NICE guidance. Lifestyle suggestions are written by hand against named, well-established sources rather than generated freely, and every step carries a link so you can read the original. Sources include:

  • NHS (nhs.uk) and NICE (nice.org.uk)
  • British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK, British Dietetic Association
  • British Liver Trust, Kidney Care UK, British Thyroid Foundation

How we treat your results

You choose what happens to your data the first time you sign in: save it privately to your account, or keep it only for the current browser session so nothing is stored at all. You can change that choice at any time, and clear everything with one button.

There is no advertising, no tracking and no analytics anywhere in the app, and your results are never sold or shared. The privacy notice sets this out in full.

What it is not

To Good Health is an information and tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat or replace your GP, and a green grade is not a clean bill of health. Reference ranges are population-level and do not know your age, sex, medicines, pregnancy or medical history.

This is information, not medical advice. Grades compare your numbers with published NHS and NICE ranges, which are general and do not account for your age, sex, medicines or history. Always discuss your results with your GP, especially anything marked amber or red.
